1962 RedBird New York Subway Sign w/ Destinations: South Ferry, 19x29 inches

This New York Subway sign is 19 inches wide and 29 inches long. It is made of a cloth-like material called Vellum.

Destinations are: SOUTH FERRY (Manhattan), WOODLAWN ROAD (Bronx).

The Woodlawn Road route is the 4 Train, which serves Yankees Stadium.

The sign is in fantastic condition for its age. Please carefully review the photos before making your purchase.

This sign came from trains that operated on the numbered subway routes. Many series of cars featured similar characteristics, including the signs. These trains were affectionately called, "Red Birds."
